Norman was a delightful tour guide. He arrived early at our hotel with a new, clean, air-conditioned van which handled our group of 5 very comfortably. One of the things we were especially grateful for was the cooler of cold water. Norman was courteous, humorous, considerate and obviously knew his country well. We took a tour of several interesting temples on our way up to a lookout over Mt. Batur. I look forward to working with him again, since we visit our children every year in Bali!
You must not visit Bali without having at least one day (preferably more) touring around with Norman. We had a great day out, with Norman showing us amazing scenery and historic sites – he even knew the best places to stand for first class photographs! He really brought the Balinese culture to life, all from the comfort of a large air conditioned car, complete with chilled water and expertly driven.
If you do no other trip in Bali, make sure it's with Norman. We had the most enjoyable day exploring the Kintamani area, with magnificant views and sacred temples. He provided lots of information about the history of our stops. Norman is humourous, kind and looks after his guests like close family. And his laugh - totally infectious! You can't help but laugh with him. If I return to Bali, I'll be spending another day with Norman for sure!

We saw what we wanted to (North Bali tour), didn´t go where we didn´t want to go.
Norman met us at our hotel at the agreed time.
He had such a good humour and he really knew a lot about his island.
We loved the rice terraces and the view from the lunch cafe. The food at this cafe (cant remember the name) was one of the best we had during our stay at Bali, by the way.
We also got so many great pictures and even more beautiful memories.
I first came across Norman on Trip Advisor, and after reading all the very enthusiastic comments about him there and on this site, I decided to go ahead and arrange a full-day tour with him. Norman lives up to all the rave reviews: he is knowledgeable, personable, reliable, funny, and a lot of fun, AND he is a safe and careful driver. I had such a good time and learned a lot from him about Balinese culture. In fact, I ended up hiring him several times on this trip; he made my visit to Bali an even richer experience. In short, he is great at what he does and is a terrific guy. Thanks very much, Norman, and see you next time!
Norman is more than just a guide / driver for Bali. He actually enjoys what he does and has fun in the process and the difference is apparent. What a typical driver does will be to drive you to your destination and stay in the car. Instead Norman jokes and clowns with you all the way. He also goes the extra mile of accompanying you for most of your sightseeing journeys, doubling up as a photographer, snapping lots of family photos and in all sorts of poses. Family holidays without a tripod has never had so many complete family shots before. This was our 2nd trip to Bali and our 2nd experience with Norman. Thanks for a great 5 days bro.
This was our first time to Bali. My Husband and I did not know what to expect. We had been told to hire a private driver and I went online and found Drivers with Distinction. Got it contact with them and Norman was to be our driver. We cannot say enough about Norman he is fantastic his knowledge of the Island and explaining the Balinese culture to us made our trip amazing. Norman is so friendly and loves to joke around with you which makes you feel totally at ease and that you are out on an outing with a friend not a driver. We spent (4) wonderful days with Norman exploring Bali. We will definitely return to Bali and will look Norman up. Thank you Norman for sharing your Beautiful Island with us and the amazing memories.
Norman is hilarious! He was a fantastic guide. He listened to what we wanted to do, and tailored our trip to just that. He even helped us find US 3 prong adaptors and SIM cards (and went over the agreed hours to do so).
We saw the beautiful Tanah Lot, Bratan Temple, multiple gorgeous Rice Terraces, and the volcanic mountains (unfortunately it was pouring - he drove up anyways). He always had colorful commentary the whole way - educated us about Bali culture, fauna, and flora.
Highly recommend spending time with this guy! Also quick note on how he spoiled us with readily available cold water bottles in the back! :)

I have visited Bali 2-3 times. It is one of the best place for honeymoon. i love this place. Full of natural and amazing beauty!!!
